Does album art work with FLAC files on Denon Prime 4?

I noticed my FLAC files do not display album art on my prime 4. My files encoded with apple lossless do display album art.

Is album art actually supported on the Denon Prime for FLAC files? Is the problem my FLAC files are tagged incorrectly?

Moin @deltanine,

I had the same problem and solved it as follows:

  • All my tracks are stored as FLAC-files
  • I installed Mp3tag (toll free from internet)
  • I made a cover photo with my cam (a small jpg-file) and stored it in my environment or use the cover photo from internet
  • Inserted with Mp3tag the photo in to the track file
  • Re-imported the track information via DENON’s Engine DJ into the collection (right mouse klick)
  • finished

May this workaround assist you :relaxed:

Thanks, I loaded oneof my files into mp3tag, and the artwork appeared as expected.

Need to try it on my prime 4, which is in the box at the moment.

Fine,

first you have to update with Engine DJ. This is the program to prepare your tracks.

Second step will be to use the file on Prime 4 (Engine OS).
