Okey everyone I want to talk about this old cool 2 channel (twin USB) mixer, I know it’s more designed for vinyls than actual players but just look at this build-in sampler, I really like this workflow especially for chop drops because you have FX fader for that. Before starting a recording I need to setup my drops inside banks memory, as you can see we have 5 buttons to record/play and erase button to replace with other sound.
Basically I like to mix Dubstep&Riddim and I just need make sure that BPM is always 140 (You can’t turn On Auto BPM button because it’s glitchy) I loads on my decks up to 5 different tracks to save drops to the 5 banks. When just starting mix you are able to select one of these sampler drops and switch it anytime you want. When both decks playing a dubstep track, you can move Level Depth Fader to chopping sampler drops with actual decks drops. Also if your Level Depth fader is set to 20-25% you would be able to hear both (The decks tracks and sampler drop loop) at the same gain. Make sure to hit that sampler button in time because you may hear Kick and Snare/clap in wrong Sync with the track.
