DJ Prime Go Plus Jogwheel lifting/detaching issue

Is anyone experiencing an issue with the jog wheel coming loose and detaching on the DJ Prime Go Plus model? By “coming loose and detaching,” I mean that when you grab the jog wheel and lift it up or flip the device 180 degrees, the jog wheel is not securely fixed and falls off the machine. The left jog wheel is fine, but the right one simply pops out when lifted. (I’d like to attach photos or videos, but as a new user, I’m unable to do so, so I’m explaining with text only.) The jog wheel function itself works fine; the detaching is the only issue.

I’m in Korea, where this product isn’t officially sold, so I purchased it directly from overseas. I discovered this problem during the checking process, which is quite distressing. Since I bought it from an international online site, returns/exchanges aren’t easy, so I’d like to find a way to fix it myself if possible. I’m wondering if anyone has experienced similar symptoms or knows how to fix this. I’ve also inquired with inMusic customer service, but haven’t received a response yet, so I wanted to ask the community as well.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this!

Hello, if you are a bit handy with simple manual work, or you know someone, that could help, it is possible to fix the jog wheel. Make sure, that your device is powered off and unplugged from the power supplly. You need to open it from the bottom, and look for the circlip, that should hold the jog wheel.

Before touching anything inside the device, make sure to touch something metal that is connected to the ground to discharge your body electrostatic potential. A radiator, or socket grounding pin is sufficient usually.

The clip can be lose, so it could fall in the device between the PCB’s. Shake it good, to make sure it falls out. Then use it to secure the jog wheel.

omg, you are a lifesaver! Thank you very much. I’ll try that ASAP. I really hope the clip is still inside the gear…

Thank you very much!! :heart::heart::heart::heart:

Thanks for the help. I opened the gear and find the clip that you mentioned. I then clip on the jog wheel’s shaft. And it works perfectly now.

Thank you and wish you wonderful days ahead :smile:
