Hi Folks, I’m trying to sync SoundSwitch (lighting software running on an external computer) to a DenonDJ Prime 4+ via Ableton Link. I manage to establish a link between the SoundSwitch software running in the Mac and the DenonDJ hardware. I started a song on Desk 2 and for sure, the tempo got synced to SoundSwitch.
However, when subsequently changing songs or desks, the tempo doesn’t update via Ableton Link.
I’ve attached a photo where you can see that the link tempo is still set to ~112 (which was the tempo of the very first song I’ve played), while Player 1 to the left has a tempo of 127.1 and it’s the currently running player. I assume, the color of the filled square with the word “Link” in it indicates, that the source of the tempo is actually Player 2.
But how is this supposed to work / setup? Ideally, the DJ could run the show as usual with the tempo of the currently active song being send out over Ableton Link.
I didn’t find any additional setting anywhere.
