Denon Service times?!?!?!

Hello all and Denon, Have had my SC5000 in for repair since July 5th and was wondering what are users experience with turn around times?

Music Store stated it can take some time due to parts, however how long is some time? Has been 6 weeks so far, (Initial estimated time was 6 weeks).

Is there a way to contact Denon DJ service department direct for more information? perhaps?

There’s a good chance that there are different times/delays on different parts

You could try calling InMusic in Ash Vale, UK for a rough update on times

Can you provide your case # with support? I can look into this. Thanks.

Hi and thanks for reaching out, The repair / service number I have is #SER592303 However this is a number that Music Store Gmb has supplied to me. It was sent in for a warranty repair by them around 5th July.

I also have been provided this number RMA245799

However Music Store Gmb they are both goos for reference :•)

Hi there again, did you have any luck with this? As I am still none the wiser and still SC5000 is in repair.

No news from Music Store and nothing from denon to Music store Gmb…

Any updates would be truly appreciated! Nico

Eight weeks ago I sent my SC6000 in for service via the Musicstore due to grounding problems on the jog wheel. The jogs didn’t always react to my touches. On 29.08.2024 I received the message that I could finally pick it up after 8 weeks. Yesterday I picked it up and happily drove home. When unpacking and connecting the shock. The cover plate of the jog was loose and the part was causing the same problems as before. What now? Do I go back to the music store and send it back in for 8 weeks? I think Denon can keep the part and give me my money back. I’m really angry about these service times and the poor repair.

Charming that is! I would like to think they know what they are doing. But looks like quality control failed there! I am still waiting for mine to be updated and repaired.

However I read somewhere that after a period of time I could start charging rental costs due to them having the unit for such a long period of time.

Will be sending a request for rental payment and lets see how they handle that one. As its in there possession and is still my equipment. Is a claws in the law when it comes to this sorr of thing. Perhaps send your unit back atating is still need of repair and now you will be renting it to them while in repairs

Hello again, any news or luck with an update? It has been now 10 weeks since the unit was sent for repairs under warranty.

I actually only had the unit for less than 3 days! So effectively Denon have had it longer than I have owned it… what the foork. lol :joy:

I did also last week sent a ticket to Denon via the online Technical Support, requesting an update as Music Store Gmbh are unable to give me any more information other than a text they received when they ask about it stating in repair….

I also spent the afternoon trying to fund a contract number to call them myself, however the only number I found was an automatic answer machine re-directing you to they website technical support yet again…

So be mindful when buying a denon unit. Repair times can be foorking loooiong and don’t expect an update at anytime……

Almost gonna go back to Using Traktor and my controller alongside my turntables as this is also effecting my streaming channel content……

Shame but true…

Was unable to track down a case with that number. What is your email address that was used?

Have messaged you directly. To keep my details private :•)
