Denon Prime Go Plus - Computer Mode

Hello everyone,

I wanted to use my Prime Go plus on the computer and therefore connect it in computer mode.

I have installed the latest drivers and the device is also recognized as a mini controller by windows 11. However, I can’t control anything with the controller in Engine DJ, Serato or Rekordbox.

Does anyone know the problem?

Do I have a wrong understanding of “computer mode”?

I installed the drivers and then:

  1. started the controller
  2. switched to computer mode
  3. connected Prime Go plus to the PC with the USB cable. → I have already changed the order (first connected and then set to computer mode)

Then start the DJ software.: My aim is to operate the software with the controller

Thank you for your help !

Hi Marlon,

Prime Go+ is not a supported controller for Serato DJ.

Engine DJ is not a DJ software like Serato or Rekordbox but a music library software

Rekordbox works only with Pioneer controllers.

To sum it up: use VDJ or Traktor (if you find a mapping file for Go+)

It’s also supported for Mac, Windows and iOS by Algoriddim’s djay Pro (albeit sans screen).

Thank you! That explains a lot. So I can only use it as I planned with virtual dj.

Funnily enough I had SC live 4 before and somehow got it to work with serato.

Too bad that would be a great feature if engine dj could be operated with the denon controller

Hi, this is a link to all Serato supported hardware, some Denon products have functionality as a controller, but not all.
