I had my event Saturday afternoon with a venue I’ve played loads of times. I set up as usual my 4+. The other dj who is Pioneer Rekordbox user loaded his USB stick first which had nearly 8k of tracks which took maybe 5+ minutes to load. Once loaded I then connected to hotspot as the wifi was slower as I wanted Tidal & Apple go use as I left my usb at home so was waiting on that. We said with the other dj’s music on his stick as Tidal & Apple just wasn’t loading it kept spinning to load. Normally no issues on signing in. It finally connected so I then went on Tidal and continued but about 20 minutes in it froze and nothing was responding so we had to turn off and start again. All good back to his stick. I came on to Apple and maybe 15 minutes in again the same thing. I then swapped to the SCLive. Loaded and away we went on his stick. By this time I had my usb and played tunes from there and yet again it froze! Luckily the venue was able to play music through their system. I’d say overall it happened 8+ times it even crashed on Spotify .I got home played both standalones through at home using my usb, Tidal, Apple and Spotify and no issues. The venue was hot but I’ve played when it’s been hotter in there. My own searches seem to lead it possibly being his usb. I guess the vast amount of tracks it hard to analyse didn’t help. So, has anyone experienced this? I was on the latest update.
