I was wondering if there’s someone who sells a plug-and-play crossfader for the Denon MCX8000. Mine seems to have broken off over the years of DJing at clubs and at a lot of other events.
OEM 704-MC4K-173 is the part you are looking for (or alternative 1704-MC4K-B173).
The original plug-and-play OEM module has been officially discontinued by inMusic/Denon DJ. So most authorized parts distributors no longer carry the complete pre-soldered board in stock.
Because of that, you currently have two real options:
- Mini Innofader Plus, plug and play solution without soldering (The Innofader - Home)
- Bare replacement potentiometer (soldering required). Search eBay or Amazon for part number 704-MC4K-173. You will need to desolder your broken fader from the existing green circuit board and solder the new bare component in place
