Denon LC6000 screens issue

hi all

The screens are not changing from the default Blue/White logo that appears when they are switched on when i connect it to Virtual dj

and not showing the artwork too

Any fix will be appreciated

thx

Are you powering the LC6000 from USB only, or are you using the power supplies which came with them?

Try the power supplies

Having to guess here due to lack of info:

If you’re using a PC it could be related to the MIDI 2.0 issue (and you can disable MIDI 2.0 from within the latest VDJ software).

sorry for the lack of info.

i use virtual dj latest update and the midi 2.0 is disabled

windows 11 pro

alienware m18 13th gen

yes im using the power suply and the usb is direct to the laptop no hub involved

Apart from the screens, do they function correctly to control VDJ?

When did the screens last work as expected?

Are you using SoundSwitch on your laptop?

If so, start it AFTER VDJ.

Update your LC6000 with the latest firmware; that should work afterwards.

no im not using it

its updated throght the updater app from denon

yes they control everything but the screens dont show anything even the loop counts.

it was ok before the 2026 v2 update

Edit: I’m actually having the same problem on my LC6000s now. The screens only display the startup animation. There’s no cover art, no position information within the outer circle, and no information about the loops. Latest VDJ build 2026 b9269 (Early Access).

I don’t think the problem is with VDJ or Denon; I think it’s more likely due to another botched Microsoft patch deployed in Windows Update in recent days.

Probably one of these:

2026-03 Hotfix (KB5086672) (26200.8117)

2026-03 Preview Update (KB5079391) (26200.8116)

2026-03 Hotfix (KB5085516) (26200.8039)

I haven’t had time to investigate which one it is yet, but I’ll do some further testing tomorrow.

It would probably be a good idea to open a thread with VDJ technical support; they might not be aware of the issue, and if they are, they might have a workaround to offer.

There’s a simple fix now in VDJ that is basically a tick box then reboot.

I informed VDJ too about the issue

We’ve done that already since the release of VDJ update

Ah OK, must be a deeper issue somewhere then.

The problem isn’t limited to the LC series, but apparently also affects the Prime4+.

My customers have reported this several times, and now I’ve noticed it on my own unit as well.

It’s not related to VDJ. B9005 and the latest VDJ show that the mini-displays aren’t being addressed every two to three startups. Even unplugging and replugging the cable doesn’t help.

I’ve only observed this issue before when SS was running.

My colleagues with the FLX10 and AZ aren’t experiencing any problems. Neither the display nor the MIDI.

Update on the VDJ forum …..

It’s astonishing how quickly the VDJ team always comes up with a solution. And that’s with the incredible number of functions and controllers they support.

This is how fast the developers they have in virtual dj. Unfortunately not like here with inmusic as denon is full of bugs and for month’s they even didnt respond to any question from the forum members. What a shame
