I recently bought the Denon Prime Go+ and mainly stream Apple Music. I was surprised to find that when I search for popular EDM songs like John Summit on Apple Music, the BPM is already displayed without downloading the tracks. I discovered that Denon’s Engine Cloud Database uploads this information for others to use when playing a track. Some EDM tracks lack this info, so I plan to contribute to the database. I intend to leave my Prime Go+ playing continuously in sped-up mode. Before doing so, will I be uploading BPM information to the Engine Cloud Database for Apple Music songs?
The streaming database is crowd sourced and was introduced a while back so people can have already analysed music from the streaming lists. Wasn’t aware that it worked with Apple Music though
