I have now owned a SC live 4 for 4 months now. I swear, I don’t know if it’s just my model, but it’s causing me some problems. First of all I don’t have the guarantee of a stand-alone, since with the 3.2.0 update the audio crashed and crashed, so I had to restart. The same thing goes with the software (Virtual DJ and Serato). Since I got the 4.00 update it seems to be resolved. Since I find myself doing private events anyway, I’m never at peace. Other problems that signal: microphone input which is very painful, but distorts in an absurd way and also creates latency when the radio microphone arrives (tested on a separate mixer and it doesn’t). Then, Bluetooth freezes for a few ms and also during a wedding, the Bluetooth with the PC was disconnected… Then I noticed that my crossfader is out of order, that is, if I have to use it to scratch, obviously I use the appropriate curve cut , if I’m all the way to B, I need to take it quite a bit to the left to make deck A heard. And not enough, sometimes when I press load track , from the prepare section, it doesn’t load the track If you have any feedback too, let me know thanks🙏
Hello @Mario_Todisco Welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear, you have problems with your SC Live 4. It would be easier to understand your issues, if you could film them maybe? Please move the camera slowly, so we can see very clearly what is set up and what is going on.
The issues you describe are very not usual.
Hi mate, Will here, if you search the forum for crossfader you might see a post from a chap who videoed how to fix the cross fader, I have the same problem with mine, try and use that air cleaner spray as the connectors do get dirty, this is one cause, yes I know it shouldn’t do this but it does, I might ask Denon to place rubber seals under to have a dust guard effect. As for your blue tooth I’ve not used that function yet, however I can see why you would use it at Weddings. I leave my Denon connected to the Net from time to time just to make sure all the updates are correct, sometimes this just helps and it working for me so far. These machines have many advantages as you know, I was DJing In Brighton last weekend on CDJ’s 900’s, second time ever using a Pioneer, the cue buttons did not work and it jumped tracks! I was longing for my Denon, hope the above helps bro.
