Denon DJ Prime 4+ and dropbox problem

I bought a Denon DJ Prime 4+ and installed an SSD inside. During the initial setup, I created a profile and logged in. I connected to Dropbox, where all my playlists were synced from Engine DJ desktop on my MacBook. I realized that the Dropbox feature doesn’t work the way I expected. It doesn’t automatically download all my tracks and library to the internal SSD but instead streams (or loads) each track individually before loading it into a deck. So, I don’t really see the point of this Dropbox integration.

I logged out of Dropbox on my Prime 4+ and connected it to macOS with a USB cable, formatted the Prime 4+ SSD, and synced my library from macOS Engine DJ to the Prime 4+ SSD. But now, when I turn on the Prime 4+, it shows all the tracks and playlists, but every time I try to load a track into a deck, it asks me to log into Dropbox, even though I’ve selected the internal SSD as the source. I can’t load any track from the internal SSD—it keeps asking to log into the Dropbox account.

I tried doing a factory reset, but that didn’t help either. I’m starting to regret buying this device and not sticking with Pioneer, as such a basic function is made so complicated! How can I load local playlists or reset it so that it doesn’t show Dropbox for tracks? I’ve tried everything!!!

I found this site through Drop Box just clicking around but thought it was cool, so I that is literally the extent of my experience. Despite being even lower than a newbie at this point, I’m still going to try to help, lol. One thing I noticed when reading the user manual is it said you had to turn the Drop Box feature on in Engine DJ to use it. Could that feature have been turned on automatically in Engine DJ without you knowing and it is now something you need to deselect? Or did you go into the preferences and activate the feature yourself like it says in the manual?

Manual: To enable Dropbox cloud storage, open the Preferences menu and under Library > Cloud Storage, set Dropbox to On.

My thinking is it’s asking you to log in because that setting is active or something. If that was not helpful, I appologize.
