Decksaver Denon DJ Prime SC6000?

Hello fellow DJ’s and Music lovers Just a qwick question about finding a stable Decksaver for the Denon DJ Prime SC6000. (not M). It seam that there is a lack of compatible decksaver option for this model.

As I am only able to find a duel compatible version that has that silly bump for the SC6000 M’, They state it fits both models, however If I wanted a bump on the decksaver I would get the one available for both models.

However was wondering if anyone here in the community has managed to find a suppler or manufacture for the SC6000 only?? (With out bump on the platter wheel section).

Many thanks in advance and let’s see if there is one out there in the world?

Or do we need to make our own one?? (3d-Printed version lol )

I see they do a bumpless version for the LC6000, so if you weren’t too bothered about covering the screen, you could slice the back part off…

From their POV I can understand why there’s only one for both versions, as it seems creating the mould is the expensive part - which rules out getting your own made from a moulding company.

Maybe you could buy the bump version, slice the bumps off and glue something over the holes…

Yes indeed, is a case of companies trying to be economical I guess. The reason I would like ine is to stop my cat from damaging the unit, as I have found him sleeping on the dam thing twice, perhaps as I have a nice soft dust cover on it? Im sure 5.5 kilos of cat is not so good for the platter.

But have also found him one time sleeping on my mixer lol :joy: and that thing has knobs galore, so how that was of any comfort is beyond me…

I have now simply stuck a Large sized kendama on the player as this is very uncomfortable and big for him to move.

I do try keep the room closed but find as im in and out of that room so often, it’s normally open.

I could as you suggested, get one with a knobble and modify it, but thease things cost. 46€ over here, so might just stick to my current solution.

However was just interested if anyone has seen a cover without the “M” Bubble :•)

Cheers for your input by the way!

Hi dope,

It’s a nope…

When I got my SC6000’s I thought the same. The SC5000’s had a nice flat Decksaver, but the new ones are only available in the M version…

It’s been an educational thread. Now I know what a kendama is.
