Deck is not playing after playing with jog on scratch mode

Hi guys,

Yesterday I received my new Denon Prime 2. I plugged it and turned it on and started playing some music and testing it. 30 min later one of the decks stops responding for the play button, like when play is clicked (strong green) the song isn’t playing and not even on the touch screen, but when you play with the jog I could hear the song and you could see the song moving on the touch screen. Whatever I tried I couldn’t make it play the song. I turned of the denon and turned it on again and it worked hoped this was a temporary bug.

I have updated the software just in case, the Ethernet cable was connected (not Wi-Fi).

After an hour it happened again, and again couldn’t make it work, turned it off and on again and it worked.

The day after I was playing with the jog on scratch mode and it happened again, finally I could find at least what causes this issue cause the first two times it happened I had no idea why.

So every time I play with the jog on scratch mode the deck stops playing, the play button doesn’t play the song anymore. Also when clicking and holding the cue button the song isn’t playing. The other deck by the way keep playing but the scratch button doesn’t respond when clicked, like when the issue happened the scratch button was off, i turned it on but the deck didn’t play scratch mode.

Please help me solve this problem.

Do you have issues with the right deck? Have you proper ground on the power cord? Does the song play if you turn off vinyl mode?

Did You took the plastic film off the jog wheel?
