Cue position resets if cue button is pressed during a spin back

Hi everyone.

New here so sorry if this is a duplicated post. :grinning:

I recently moved from Pioneer to a X1850 and SC6000 setup and I noticed that if you loop the last word in a phrase, then perform a spin back and then press the cue button, it moves the cue position to inside the loop.

Weirdly, if you let the spin back slow and start to play on its own and you press the cue, it goes to the preset cue position where it was originally set.

Any ideas if this is a setting or a glitch?
