Crossfader soundswitch

I’m using the Control One with a PRME 4 + and the only way to switch from a track to another is with upfader, i don’t find the crossfader mode, i set “blend mode” in soundswitch desktop application, but when i connect the control one with the Prime 4 it’s not working with cross fader, did someone have a solution ?

It sadly doesn’t work (yet). On all-in on devices like the P4 with Engine Lighting, you have to use the upfaders. I have suggested this as feature request (blend mode + CF).

I am NOT HAPPY about this.

  1. bc it’s been a known problem for years and no mention of it in any of the new User Manuels. SS would dominate the planet if they just did a better job in the information-sharing department.
  2. bc it was a feature request from over 3 years ago!

I understand that a fix has been created. Why has it not been deployed? What is the holdup?

Why this feature, which is mentioned in their own software, doesn’t work is a mystery to me. In terms of hardware, only line feeders are supported. But as you can see, this is the new way of DJing. The big names only use line feeds now. The expensive Pioneer mixers don’t even have crossfaders anymore. However, I think it mainly depends on the technical capabilities of your equipment. There would be major problems with the moving heads if they always had to run from X23,y140 to x124,y230, so that the motors would no longer be able to keep up. And when changing colors, the result would be nothing but muddy colors. But that’s just my opinion.
