The issue likely isn’t your destination storage medium, but rather the code that manages the database synchronization.
I agree but its strange that you can add tracks from version 4 engine to a database built in a prior version of engine with no issue.
I have the same problem and used the same solution! I also used windows 11 (the problem appears with macos) to create a disk with all the archive, no errors, prime4+ reads without errors, but if I connect the disk created with windows to one of the 2 pc with macos I do not see the archive! today I will do other tests!
I can confirm that the issue is with macOS only at the moment, my windows 11 install can manage the library fine - macOS I’ve tried all versions back to 3.2 and getting the same “corrupt” issue

FWIW, I have just found this thread after going half insane trying to work out what’s going wrong.
So “yes” same here Windows 11 PC, Engine DJ is OK on the PC but when a completed sync to an external SSD is performed, EngineDJ claims the Database is corrupt.
Looking at the SSD afterwards shows it’s missing the DB files, it only has the “Database2” folder and the “Music” folder listed.

I have a very strong feeling that a fix should be out soon. Some of us community members have been doing a lot of troubleshooting, including testing multiple OS’s, File Systems, File Types and what not. =)

Would this be with some form of update??? I still cannot get a Sync to SSD, EXT HDD or USB Stick to complete with it being Corrupted.
