I plan to prepare a bunch of sequences that I can use the controller to toggle through. A lot of work and design into how to utilize each nob, and how it would map… but could be interesting nontheless.
In the end I would want to get some beatpad / MPC jobby instead, and mix some live produced (really its choosing from a set list of pre-configured patterns) in with prerecorded tracks using the standalone controller.

I made some progress.
I was able to connect the Denon SC Live 4 to my Ubuntu/Linux laptop, running Sonic Pi and run a program that took midi events as input.
More elaborate experiments to come.
