Compatibility in detail

Hi, Could someone point me in the right direction please, trying to find out what Engine Desktop OS versions are compatible with Mac OS Monterey 12.7.1. I was on V3.4 on Prime 4+ and Desktop until yesterday, decided to update to the current version, all went smooth on the PRIME 4+, All my playlists and music seemed to be intact, the Mac OS install seemed to go ok also, well.. until i tried to boot Engine DJ and it just quit on me without opening at all. So as it stands i can’t add any ‘NEW’ music, i can play with what is already on the internal SSD, but i need Engine dj to load new. I’ve scoured all over to verify my thoughts that this version of Engine (4.3) isn’t compatible with my MAC OS, but i can’t find confirmation of this anywhere.

Thanks for any input or advice.

See page 47 of the Engine DJ (Desktop) 4.3.0 user guide.

Looks like someone here knows how read a manual :head_shaking_horizontally:

I run 4.0.1 on Big Sur flawless. But last supported version for macOS 11.

Life can be so simple sometimes. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

What’s funny to me is that I don’t always read manuals. I have ADHD and have trouble actually reading (strange that I can write software though). So i went from trying to read manuals to using search engines. There seems to be an entire generation who went from reading manuals to just asking people online. I see this aaaaallll the time on Reddit.

“Hey, I just got this thing. How do i set it up to do _____.” (It’s in the manual)

I have a friend with a visual disability, so my answer isn’t always like “read the manual”.

However, since the Apple Music release there has been several questions that could have been self-service solutions imho. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Fair point and I suppose I could learn to be more compassionate. Thank you for that.
