Collection & Library Don't Match

Cannot figure out why my Collection has 18k tracks, but the LIBRARY on has 15K. Can’t seem to understand why?

Or are you saying you havre 18K tracks total and only have 15K imported / registered in Engine?

Yup. it sure is.

To get my nerd hat on:

Technically speaking, Collection is a playlist also. It’s the top-most playlist in a tree-structure of nodes in the database. It exists in all Engine DJ instances.

In the above image, @ejthedjnycli has the following structure.

• Collection – the root node playlist. Contains all of the music registered inside of Engine DJ)
  • LIBRARY – a leaf-node playlist. Contains a subset of records within the above Collection root node.

@ejthedjnycli , it seems like you likely dropped a named LIBRARY onto Engine DJ’s UI and it created the LIBRARY playlist. Is this correct?

Very true. The LIBRARY playlist just isn’t the total Collection, so they are simply different.
