Channel effects tempo defaults to 120 and auto BPM doesn't work

This is driving me nuts and I noticed it with my sweep effects. They sometimes run at different tempos. For example, loading the same song at the same tempo on both players and using the Wash out sweep effects yields completely different results. Sweeping to the left or right on deck 1 vs doing the same on deck 2 comes in at totally different bpms. Switching channels on the effects channel selector gives different tempos even when the songs are the same, usually 120. This is a recent change, as of updating to 3.3, and it’s not specific to a song. Happens consistently on channels 3 and 4.

Here’s info on my setup

  • 2 x SC6000 running 3.3.0
  • 1850 mixer with 1.7
  • SC6000s connected to mixer via ethernet
  • 1850 connected to network via ethernet on a gigabit connection
  • 1k songs in my engine collection managed with the desktop software, also the latest
  • Collections and playlists exported to a SAMSUNG MUF-256AB/AM FIT Plus 256GB - 400MB/s USB 3.1 Flash Drive
  • 500GB drive installed in one of the SC6000s
