Looking for cases for my lc6000s. will they fit in large format cdj cases without a lot of extra foam?
Nice but i was looking for flight style cases. im a tall guy so i like to sit my decks on top of closed cases
Send UDG a message, they will find you a suitable box and tell you what they have in stock and where. When I got my SC6000m(s) They found a suitable box and told me how to modify it for an exact fit. Typically they have different levels of protection, from light, to freight, to full flight. Depending on what you need and your budget. The one in the photo cost 320€, it has wheels, flight ready and as strong as Carl Cox! I’m sure they can find something for your LC6Ks.
I’m more interested in the other device in that case …Vestax?

Yes! Use Harbor Freight cases for lots of things and they are great! Great prices too! And if you keep an eye out they have good coupons to use toward these!
I’m not sure which “other device” you are talking about? The mixer is a RELOOP RMX60. I considered the DENON, what I really wanted was the XONE92. Then I saw an offer of the RMX60 for 300€. It’s a seriously nice mixer. The other bit, is the I/O board, 1xPowerCON in, 4xPowerCON out, MASTER XLR and 2xUSBs for lights or external phone charging. The actual flighttcase is U91046BL with modifications for SC6000 (some foam cutout)
Did anybody find something else? I am looking at the Magma CTRL ((soft shell) cases. With a decksaver on the LC6000 that should provide plenty of protection carrying the LC6000 around and save quite a bit on the extra weight a (wooden) flightcase or even an ABS case would add. As long as you don’t need that level of protection.
They have them that fit the 5000s, but those need more room because of the slanted screens wich is obviously missing on the LC6000s.
Anybody have experience with these, I’d love to hear.
Check out swan flight, ive been using them for decades for gear and record cases, alongside a good portion of the worlds motorsports teams. They should have an LC specific case but if not you can build your own to spec on their website.

I am presuming that there is a typo in this post because you talk about slanted screens and the 5000. I think you meant to talk about cases for SC6000 and SC6000m.
We use a UDG 5000 case for SC6000m (U91046BL), is has plenty of room for them, the cooling fans are not rescricted. The instructions suggest to cut the foam, but it isn’t needed.
We made some custom boards for power in/out, audio and usb in /out. Is is a bit heavy to get on the wheels, after that it lugs around well and easily fits in the back of a small hatchback.
