I have my setup dialed in but never played with the Engine Lighting. I don’t use a laptop I use Tidal to Stream as 1- i can make playlists and 2- I can let others make playlists with my account and hit refesh on the SC6000 and viola they are all there…also while on the dance floor the “can you play song x” is easy as all i do is search for it over wifi on Tidal.
Now I read Tidal is unsupposted for soundswitch info but not quite sure what that means and open to using another way to procure songs (but kinda stinks as i love this setup)
I have the control one plugged into deck one of my 4 deck setup. Engine lighting enabled…but after moving to my macbook and dowloading 3 apps (Engine Lighting, Sound Switch, Inmusic and paying for both a monthly subscription of Sound Switch plus getting Apple Music subscription (as it said now supported in Engine DJ…but oh its not on the Denon SC6000 menu so not sure what the means) then I DMX out of the Control One to the Gigbar Move….
Now what? Find music to download to an SD\USB drive and then export soundswitch project? I am confused and the videos on Youtube showing PRIME 4 all in ones and laptops seem older or not my equipment.
Please educate me on what I need (oh also bought a soundstage DMX to usb cable but see that is to a laptop directly which I don’t want that)
