Cant for the life of me to get SC6000 lighting to do anything with my phillips hue lights

Hi, I have 2 SC6000s (one M and one standard) paired with an x1850, all 3 are on the latest firmware. I also have 3 Philips hue bulbs and a hub… all on the latest firmware aswell.

I can connect the bridge to either controller just fine, when I go into the lighting controls menu, under preferences for Phillips hue I can test each light and they light up, and I the “White” button in the actual lighting controls works. Everything else doesn’t do anything. None of the strobe, auto loops ect ect ect. Nothing else makes my lights do anything, they just stay off.

I don’t know If I’m missing something essential, or this is a common bug or what. Everything I’ve found seems to lead me to believe that if they light up when I test them in the preferences menu they should work fine. But no juice.

Would love any advice I can get. Thanks!

Have you set them up as a room in the app? Also, are you on the latest firmware (hue)? I had to do all that, took about a day to sort

I think the Hue lights need to support to be able to place them in an “entertainment” group. Not all lights do.

Exacly, you need to have colored Hue lamps and set them up as a “entertainment group” within the Hue-app. In EngineOS you need to be connected to the same WiFi as the Hue-bridge in your house, activate SoundSwitch in the settings and select the entertainment group.

That’s what I couldn’t think of, entertainment group!

I had to go through 5 firmware updates to get to being able to add them to the group for my GU10 bulbs. Smart once they work though.

Yes, I’ve done this. I followed both the Denon, and Soundswitch tutorials step by step when I set it up. They’re in an entertainment group, linked into the player perfectly. They just don’t do anything.

They’re in an entertainment group. I’ve followed Denon’s video tutorial step by step. Everything is setup as intended, the lighting controls just don’t make them do anything.
