I did search and found nothing on this but I noticed you cannot drag tracks from EDJ to another program like “Music” which is pretty annoying. I created a playlist for a cocktail each week and then drag the tracks to Music so they can mix and shuffle but none of the tracks play and they all show “0” for time. I also cannot drag them to a folder on my desktop at all which I was hoping would be a workaround to get them in to Music
Yes for one ir two tracks as a workaround, That would be totally insane if you had to do that for a set of 30-40 tracks in a playlist. Any other software you can drag between apps with no issues in bulk.
because all of my music is in EDJ, nothing isa in Apple Music, i want to just make a quick playlist, drag it to “Music” to play so theres no dead air in cocktail hour or dinner rooms we dont mix live in,
I was wondering about this since the start of the thread.
Why involve two apps? If you have the music in EngineDJ then presumably it’s on your computer, so why not just use Music to create the playlist (import your library to Music)?
Also if you have EngineDJ then presumably you have Engine hardware (which can run a playlist) so why not use that?
IMO you’ve created the “issue” yourself. There’s no real need to drag and drop from one app to the other.
because everytime i add new music i dont want to have to manage 2 libraries just because EDJ does not have a simple function thats programming 101 on every other software in the world, LOL

there is a reason when i want to make a small playlist in EDJ but play it in Music app so it fades nicely at the end and theres no dead air,
the lists get put on ipads for the guys to toss in cocktail hour, so now i have to constantly manage 2 libraries just to make a small list when i add new music vs simply having an app side by side like every other piece of dj software can do just to make a quick ipad playlist, this is why so many people dont use this crap software and hate it, the most basic function that 15 year old software has, this program cant even do
…but Engine is not “DJ software” like VirtualDJ, Serato, Djay Pro, Traktor, Rekordbox etc.
Neither is Apple Music.
TBH even DJ software is not designed for swapping music between them - hence the likes of Lexicon. Things are improving slightly these days with OneLibrary but that’s not 100% supported yet either.
Surely it’s not that hard to copy a few files from your computer’s drive to the iPad(s) to play?
