I just recently bought the great MCX8000. I have successfully analyzed all my music (along with hot cues etc.). All are read/play-able on the controller while using natural “Folders” view option. BUT… I have lots of crates in Serato which I’d love to see on MCX8000 as “Playlists”, while not having to have multiple copies of the same file physically on the USB stick. Is that even possible…?
As for now, I have to choose between “Playlists” or “Folders” mode. Creating playlists forces Engine to copy files in its own folder system… Why? :’(
