Is it just me or are there also severe bugs in 5.0.1 for anyone else. In 5.0.0 my Denon Prime2 worked perfectly. But now after the update to 5.0.1 some severe bugs come up:
Beat Analysis does not work any more. For tracks where it worked perfectly before. (The beat grid is always too early in front of the base in 5.0.1)
Most severe one: The functionality of the HOT CUES changed. When you press and hold a hot cue it does jump to that part of the tracks. But it jumps back to where you have been as if nothing has happened. The bottom half of the wave form keeps scrolling in dimmed while you press & hold. This is a nice feature. I know it, also from other players. But how can I deactivate it?
And I hate the round buttons. And make your buttons bigger!!! This is a touch screen on a party!
Ok thank you for the “Slip Mode”. I didn’t see that. Normally don’t use that too often. … But still there are a lot of bugs in 5.0.1.
Performance when scrolling through your library is much worse than it has been.
Sometimes the wheel to select a song looses its functionality. Turning it does not scroll up or down anymore.
Hey Denon Team! I really don’t wanna rant. That you regularly release a new version is awesome. I also know that a major version lift is a big thing. Maybe I was my fault. Never install a version smaller than x.1.0
