Came across this video finally showcasing a real review of the new deck from the competition and amazes me how people still keep buying and supporting pioneer decks given their pricing, lack of quality, lack of respect for their users and lack of continuous updates to their hardware.
I mentioned Numark in the title because it’s part of the inMusic umbrella and I think it would be a game changer if Numark released a minimalist player with some core features from the sc6000 and running engine dj. I think people still gravitate to pioneer decks because of XDJ-700. Even though the 1SC6000+LC6000 combo is a few bucks more than xdj-700 people don’t care. They need a real alternative to entry level decks. I think this would be a great opportunity for inMusic to tackle and start showing off that they’re the best brand that should be available in more clubs and bars
Im sad we saw a release of the X before some of the more major bug fixes coming to the 3000. Luckily, anyone hitting me up for rentals has been fine with the 3000, but having to explain to clients that things like the waveform randomly not loading or not all playlists loading is a bug is annoying.
That is a really good topic. I’ve thought smtng similar: why shouldn’t we have a single layer player that looks exactly like SC Live’s player section and costs under 1k €? Single dedicated players are so needed to make setups modular. Play button gets bad in player section and boom your all-in-one becomes worthless. Single players are so needed, even if they have screen sizes of SC Live 4 - that’s totally enough for a single layer. By the way - in jog displays in a Numark NS6 ll or SC Live 4 are amazing - they belong to: you can’t miss them if you have not used them. Really handy if I could have at least 3 decks in front of me. But hey, even without the injog displays, thise smaller one layer players would be the thing!
