I sort my music by years, with sub folders for each genre. I have a 64GB USB stick dedicated to 2023, and to this point, I have sync’d about 17.5GB of music to the stick.
I went to sync about 10GB of new music to the stick and found that not only did it take an incredibly long time, in the end, it had sync’d all of the new music, as well as duplicates of all the existing tracks on to my stick. The stick is now has over 52GB used, when my entire 2023 playlist isn’t even 27GB.
When I ask the sync manager to sync the same playlists to a stick, it should only be adding new music and not creating duplicates of existing tracks.
This is insanely frustrating because I am essentially forced to start from scratch by wiping my USBs before syncing new music in order to avoid duplicated tracks. HUGE WASTE OF TIME!
