Since the update, when I record sessions, they’re broken up somewhere. There’s just a lot of static that lasts for about 20 seconds or more. Then the music resumes, but I’m left with an unusable file. It usually happens near the end. It’s not the USB drive, since I’ve tried several and the same thing happens. Should I factory reset the system? Or should I just resign myself to not being able to record sessions anymore?
Hey @Gabriel_Oviedo ,
your question is a lil’ unspecific… like… what device are you running?
My Prime4+ shows currently weird symptoms: Prime 4+ – Audio stutter and lag when loading tracks (Engine OS 5.0.0) - Engine DJ Hardware / Standalone Controllers - Engine DJ Community
So if you 're running a prime4+, i would consider this just as another overload side-effect of the current engineos-release…
I mean, if the playin already showing dropouts, I aint wonder 'bout worse results on recording a session…
If its another device and you name it, other may be easier able to help you.

florian
Hi
Hi Florian, I’m using a Denon Prime GO+. The issue does not happen while I’m performing my DJ set. Playback is completely normal during the session. I only notice the problem when I listen back to the recorded session. Some parts of the recording have no sound at all, while other parts contain extremely loud digital noise that completely covers the audio. This problem started immediately after updating to Engine DJ OS 5.0.2. Have you heard of similar issues with the Prime GO+? Thanks in advance.
I’m afraid @Gabriel_Oviedo , I’m also quiet new in this forum. Within the last 7 weeks nothing had catched my eye on a problem like that, whereby my focus has been on my prime as mentioned.
Hey @Reese sorry for bothering you, but since @Gabriel_Oviedo mentioned it’s a GO+. Could you double-check whether this topic still belongs the thread, I have posted in here before? Thanks in advance
I think these are all EngineOS issues in general.
I’ll rename the P4+ topic title.
