I selected the bpm range to be 88-175, but there are always a number of tracks that are out of the range for some reason… I find tracks that are 190…200+ bpm, or 65-70-80 bpm I kinda ignored the problem in the last few months, every time I encountered a track that is out of range while mixing, I was halving or doubling the bpm on the fly on my sc live 4. But to be honest I never actually followed up to see if the modification was saved. Because I feel like I was doing this for the same tracks over and over again.
Recently due to the 3.1 sync issue, I had to rebuild my collection so I formatted my thumb drive and also deleted the library folder on my laptop. I went to library settings in Engine and made sure 88-175 was selected, then I dragged my music back into Engine and waited to be analyzed. After it finished, I sorted them by bpm and I got the same issue… tracks with the bpm out of the selected range.
Any idea what is causing this and how I can fix it?
