BPM analysis fail on 4.1

Hey there!

I’ve been having some troubles with the analysis of some of my tracks. Was playing in a club these days and got surprised when two tracks on the same bpm were completely off. At home I started to check it out, then noticed several of my bpms were super wrong.

What’s happening? Help :frowning:

Equipment: prime 4+

Hi, you may need to re-analyse your library, and ensure the BPM range is set correctly.

Are you all analyzing tracks on the fly in a live environment?

Well you have to if streaming. Also when adding an entire collection as a new Engine user you don’t obviously have time to go through every track individually to check if the beat grid and BPM are correct.

I’m a couple of weeks in and it’s quirky to say the least.

I’ve tried many tracks via Beatport Streaming. Sometimes the grid is off or the Downbeat is in wrong position- but not for all tracks- but correction is fast with Prime 4+ with the Beatgrid editor. But when you need a track live quickly it’s not the optimum.

I just tried some directly on the player from my music folder which isn’t analyzed on Engine PC and the gridding and cue points were all over the place. Same with tracks from Tidal.

I have a live ticket but support aren’t interested.

I’ve had a similar thing on 4.2.0 and thought it was me.

First time had tracks go from 110 to 120.

Set the machine to re-analyse the whole library, all of them.

Same issue with some tracks later gig @Homeland101 - also have a ticket with Support showing the issue and nothing back yet.

I thought it was me until I saw this.
