Checking back in. It’s been two years and this feature (pulling in beat grids from Traktor/Rekordbox/etc.) has still NOT yet been added. I just did the same test I did previously: pulling in a track from my Traktor collection onto a deck, EP creates a beatgrid by itself (it does not use the Traktor beatgrid). ‘Analyze’ and ‘re-analyze’ do not use the Traktor beatgrid and additionally blow away the Traktor key information. I cannot rely on the EP beatgrid generation as it isn’t perfect and adds time to load a track - this is why I prefer the Traktor beatgrids I have already vetted.
It’s still immensely frustrating that beatgrid import was advertised two years ago (see the 2.2.0 user guide), but that functionality never existed… and still doesn’t exist. If you check the latest user guide at the time of writing (https://cdn.inmusicbrands.com/engine/3424/Engine%20DJ%20-%20User%20Guide%20-%20v3.4.0.pdf), the section on Integration has all language regarding importing beatgrids scrubbed… If this was the case in 2022, I would never have purchased Dennon hardware.
