Hoping some one can help. Late last year I purchased a Prime Go (not+) used from a DJ equipment dealer.
I only needed it for a spur of the moment NYE party at home and only used to mix songs via Beatport.
Fast forward to now and I sold it on eBay. Buyer contacted me to say he was unable to engage auto loop on deck 1. I wasn’t aware there was an issue as I never even tried to do that.
It’s come back and I don’t seem to have any issues. Using Beatport.
He said he used an SD Card as a pro DJ, which I understand is fairly essential.
Is there any known issue with auto loop on these with selected media sources? I can’t replicate the problem to even attempt to solve it.
Either the buyer didn’t know how to use it or he’s used you as a free rental company and done a gig with it, the.n has told you a pack of lies now that his gig has been completed
I was using the loop button on the performance pads and he was pressing the knob. So my method engaged loop and his didn’t.
He wasn’t making out, pressing the loop button on the left deck didn’t engage it. The good news is as soon as I pressed it I could feel the problem and it was such an easy fix. Pulled the rubber knob off the metal spindle, put a small bung inside before pressing it back on and it’s fixed.
It must’ve just caved in ever so slightly and pushed down too far preventing it from fully clicking.
