As of today, my engine Dj software no longer starts on my Windows 11 computer. No error message appears. I have already tried it in safe mode and with the repair of the software. What can I do? Thank you very much for your support.
I had the same problem a couple of months ago. you probably installed something that overwrote the files below.
Uninstall them, reboot then try installing Engine again and see if it works.
In-Music really need to sort out the mess with installing these redists.

Thank you very much, your tip helped. I had actually installed Serato Dj a few days ago, the files were overwritten. This is really annoying and needs to be fixed. Regards
It’s been needing fixed for years but nobody ever does anything about it.
I installed the Prime Go+ ASIO drivers and it stopped my MCX8000 working. Unbelievable!

I had the same problem on 11.11.2025. Engine DJ (Ver.: 4.3.0) didn’t start neither on my PC nor on my laptop. A few days ago there was a Windows’ update.
At last (afteruninstalling, reboot and installing Engine DJ new didn’t solved the problem) suddenly I had the idea to
effect Engine DJ as admin 
From now on I start Engine DJ on both gears this way.

Did you reboot after uninstalling the resists?
I had tried that too, but it didn’t help. I am relatively sure that with the installation of Serato, the Microsoft files have been updated. After I uninstalled Serato and fixed engine, it started again.
Yes i did. I run as administrator, i deleted these files. I reboot
I did a update of rekordbox 6. Then these problems started
really strange
imo there will be more than on reason (update, new program, compiling and so on)

My problem is solved by uninstalling Serato and repairing Engine. But what do you do if you want to use both? Thank you very much for the quick help.

I’m on a crap 10th gen i3 basic laptop & I’ve got all 3 installed & working no problem. Used them all the other day as I was testing stuff out while messing about with music in audacity.
I think it depends on the sequence of installation as the redistributables get overridden by newer installs but currently installed programs need older ones to work.
