I’m aware that Engine DJ already supports services like Beatport and SoundCloud or iTunes. Are there any plans to integrate Spotify in the future? or do licensing and performance limitations make this unlikely?

I can be wrong but what i think is that only software controlled units did get Spotify. So no stand alone controllers did get it. So even on at:s xdj az and cdj:s you cant use spotify without going laptop mode
If it ever were to get added to the existing sufficient streaming services, there wouldn’t be any prior notice …. There would be a firmware file announced for download and Spotify would “appear” on decks

Yes it’s here in VirtualDJ (with offline storage coming) and on the way for Prime 4 G2…but what about the first gen Prime devices - and the desktop software?

Alpha Theta announced Spotify support for the DJX-AN, the all in one competitor to the SC Live 4 - so I am hoping Engine DJ will add this SOON ! c’mon guys! I dont ask for much

your post would be the first mention of Spotify coming to Engine DJ, so I dont see anything else posted indicating “slowly coming” In fact, ChatGPT mentions your post when I prompt it for any results indicating it coming.
Check out the Digital DJ Tips reviews of the Prime 4 G2 last month (video on YouTube and written article on their own site). Both mention that Spotify is coming.
