Are there any plans to add Spotify streaming integration to Engine DJ

I’m aware that Engine DJ already supports services like Beatport and SoundCloud or iTunes. Are there any plans to integrate Spotify in the future? or do licensing and performance limitations make this unlikely?

I can be wrong but what i think is that only software controlled units did get Spotify. So no stand alone controllers did get it. So even on at:s xdj az and cdj:s you cant use spotify without going laptop mode

If it ever were to get added to the existing sufficient streaming services, there wouldn’t be any prior notice …. There would be a firmware file announced for download and Spotify would “appear” on decks

Yes why we haven’t gotten Spotify I think it’s over due please help us out here

It could well be down to Spotify themselves.

I know Atomix mentioned that they were waiting on confirmation/permission from both Spotify & Apple. That was December 2025…

Spotify is unlikely on Engine DJ due to licensing limits. That’s why they focus on services like Beatport, TIDAL, and SoundCloud instead.
