Apple Music streaming number of playlist limit bug?

Hi guys, perhaps this was discussed already but posting here for visibility: I have a large number of playlists on Apple Music streaming subscription which for some reason cannot be displayed all while I’m scrolling through them. Also playlists are arranged into alphabetical order, would be great if there would be an option to arrange them by date they we’re created. Is there a fix following in a future update? Is this a bug or I’m missing something? SCLive4 Denon gear.

Thank you!

Hi Alexandru. Welcome to the forums dude.

You’re not missing anything in that regard. There are no options to sort playlists by any particular data field, value or order direction. Playlists are purely displayed as they are entered into the database, which determines how they are “linked” together via their id and nextListId values.

Hey @djliquidice thanks for reply  My playlist amount is over 100 and I cannot scroll through them until the end of list. Literally goes from letter A to letter G and then back again from A letter in a loop, do you experience same issue?

Unfortunately no. I don’t use streaming services for my music, so my experience is rather limited in this matter. My original reply is backed by my experience studying the DB schemas and writing my own tools to manage data within my own DB instances. =)

It was mentioned in Apple Music streaming playlist size limited to 100 songs? - #2 by Richard_Nutman it’s being worked on, but I don’t know where they got that information.

Sounds amazing! Do we have an ETA for the next release?
