Apple Music not streaming on SC Live 4

No point in providing streaming services as a selling point then not reacting when something goes wrong. Come on guys at least some feedback for the community would be appreciated.

Dealing with this same issue right now, good to know I’m not the only one! Hopefully we get an update soon

It’s friday and I want to jam! This is ridiculous. Do we all need to put in a support ticket? There’s a post here that is from an InMusic staffer saying they’re looking into this but the latest replies about support tickets have been disconcerting since Denon Says it’s not them and apple says it’s Denon

  • A mi me acaba de pasar lo mismo y justo acababa de renovar la subcripcion :sob:

I went to do a gig and it did not work

I need rhis fix asap

I think anybody with an issue should put a ticket in to show the extent of the issue .

The reply I had to my ticket mentioned that they knew of a issue with both Denon and pioneer users .

This is the reply I had and instructions to try to resolve .

See if it helps ..it hasn’t me though !

I have replied to them stating it’s a known issue since Apple changed something at their end and there has been numerous users who the same issue ……

ā€˜Based on your description, this does appear to be an Apple Music–specific issue rather than a hardware fault. We have received similar reports from users on SC Live 4 and Prime series units where Apple Music tracks display correctly but fail to load with a ā€œFile unavailableā€ or ā€œCannot load trackā€ message, while other streaming services (such as SoundCloud) continue to function as expected.

Please try the following troubleshooting steps if you haven’t already:

1. Confirm firmware version Ensure your SC Live 4 is running the latest Engine OS firmware available.

2. Log out and re-link Apple Music

  • Go to Settings > Streaming Services on the unit

  • Log out of Apple Music

  • Restart the controller

  • Log back in to Apple Music and test again

3. Check network connection Even if other services are working, we recommend:

  • Running a Wi-Fi speed test

  • Testing on a different Wi-Fi network if possible (or temporarily using a mobile hotspot)

  • Ensuring the controller is close to the router with a strong signal

4. Power cycle the unit Shut the unit down completely, unplug it from power for a few minutes, then restart and test again.’

Apple Music users should consider showing Apple their displeasure at yet another user-affecting Coke-up by Apple, by switching to Tidal streaming for a few months, until the Apple issue can be rectified.

Have the same problem!

I just tested Tidal on the System one and it’s working fine, just in case anyone needs to use an alternative streaming service at their gig tonight.

Looks Like it’s working again.

Just checked and now my Apple Music is working again. WTH !!!

Could it be that Apple have somehow grown a conscience?

I’ll have a try tonight and hopefully mine will be working .

Glad it’s working for you guys :raising_hands:
