Any (wedding) DJs here interested in testing a booking management app?

Hey fellow DJs,

I’m currently looking for a few beta testers for an iOS booking management app I built called gigReply (www.gigreply.com).

I’m a wedding DJ myself and originally built the app for my own workflow. Most tools I tried felt either outdated or overly complicated, so I wanted something that fits better into a modern iPhone workflow and follows the iOS design language (I tried to adapt the new iOS 26 style as closely as possible).

The main idea is simple:

  • manage booking requests

  • quickly send reply texts

  • send clients a survey they can open directly in the browser (no login needed)

For me as a hardware guy I also implemented an equipment management section.

The app is available in English and German (German is currently the main focus). You can use it on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Since I built it around my own process as a wedding DJ, I’m sure there are workflows or use cases I might have overlooked. That’s exactly why I’m looking for feedback from other DJs.

If anyone here would like to try it, I can invite you to a private TestFlight beta. Therefore I just need your E-Mail. I’m posting this mainly to get honest feedback from people who actually work in the field, not as advertising.

I am not familiar with android right now, maybe Ill adapt later if there is interest at all. Not sure if anyone except me needs a tool like this. :smiley: I am also not sure regarding pricing right now. Open for any thoughts.

Hey, I think your idea is really good. And I would definitely use it, but unfortunately, as a wedding DJ, I’m missing a very important feature: appointments that are part of a booking, such as sending the survey 8 weeks in advance, arranging a preliminary meeting in location 4 weeks in advance, sending the invoice 6 weeks in advance for advance payment, etc. However, these appointments should always be created automatically with the main appointment.

Think about whether this would be useful for you too.

Great idea! Actually I already implemented a few more features and also will implement your ideas. As a non native speaker the texts are not that great atm in English. Right now the main focus is just manage bookings. Later I will add API to financial tools as I could not handle that. Looking forward to add more features and get more of your feedback.
