Any plans on line/phono effects and lightning implementation yet?

Hi there, I searched here, but only found a legacy request where nothing happened anymore. Does anyone know how the roadmap is about the line / phono effects and lightning support? I mean we got a beatiful console with the prime4 but when mixing with vinyl additionally and you wanna have your complete lights control via dmx and engine lightning with soundswitch, you have just a dark room… that’s just unusable. Also the effects. We can’t connect an external effects unit like a kaoss pad cause we aint got Fx send/receive but when mixing vinyl, we also just cant use the effects.

Is there any information about that, which i didn’t find yet?

I’m sure it got mentioned somewhere that the Line in connectors are simply not hardwired anywhere near/thru the fx section, so no amount of firmware updates will bring fx to line in (or mic)

To avoid dark room syndrome on Engine lighting /soundswitch just use auto looping programs as there’s no Beatgrid on line in signals for soundswitch/engine lighting to sync with for any sort of exclusive light show for particular bits of vinyl.

It’d be nice if you could run a metronome or simple drum track on a silent/off air channel and point soundswitch/engine lighting to that

I doubt that “Auto loops” will work without a beat grid, they also use the grid to make light changes, so they wouldn’t work.

The only way to turn the lights on is to use the manual override controls in the first EL screen, or use the static controls.

I didnt get it working with auto mode. When I have only line / phono faders up, the lights are complete off. Only strobe working and constant ON. but that’s also not so well :smiley:
