Every time I attempt to sync a new Playlist the Engine just shuts down. I’m a working dj this is a huge problem. Updated to 2.0.1 tonight, maybe it was a mistake? Mac user…please I’m desperate.

What MacOS are you running?
M1 or Intel?
Have you tried rebuilding your library?
- you could try syncing ie exporting to a newly formatted usb stick (performance drive) first
- if that fails, archive the Engine Library folder(s) on all your Engine DJ collection drives (my music and external storage) and redo your library.
That’s not possible, the system crashes just trying to update before I even hit sync or have a USB drive installed.
When things get like this…sometimes a complete rebuild may be the only solution
To rebuild your library…rename the Engine Library folder to something else
Thanks I really appreciate it but why would I have to do EVERYTHING over due to some glitch in this “update” I’m not a computer guy so all this is extremely frustrating and sort of uncalled for. They found a way to break something that wasn’t broke just yesterday. Not happy. Thanks again
There is always a chance will break when it comes to major updates
Eg
Old system may have been allowing some errors go new system may not be so tolerant.

That sounds a bit like victim blaming, this wasn’t a huge update, it was supposed to be “fix” for problems with the 2.0 large update last week. Customers should not be blamed for trusting the developers…the “shouldn’t update” suggestion is completely unacceptable. Thanks again

Major updates are even more prone and 1.6 to 2.0 is one.
