Firstly, an short intro of me!
Aron is my name, based in southern sweden. Current setup is a rane mp2015, 2 sc6000 and a rmx-1000 for the occasional effects. I´ve been playing records since age 12 ( turned 41 last month ) and for about the same ammount of time I´ve been tinkering with computer hardware, software,networks etc. Current daytaime occupation is systems architect. So, with this, I have a few questions, as I was thinking it´s better to ask first then to start tinkering around without any proper docu of the software, which I like, but I have one small anoyance, that I think could be easyli solved during the install phase.
I´m thinking, for the little more advanced users, would it be a great effort to actually have the installer ask on what drive we want to install the complete software as well as where we want to put the database?
Secondly, as for the db cleanup options. Would it be hard to incorporate database move to other drive or similar? Or if db is corrupted, from within create new db,ask where location is?
Again, these are mild anoyances,nothing that bothers me in daily use or such, you can consider it as a product improvment. The team is doing a good job as it is, and Im pretty conviced that my question has already popped up within the dev team. I´m happy to talk about this.
