Hi
Is there a way to edit the tempo of a track on the SC5000 hardware?
I’ve found that I can slip the grid back or forward in time to get the first beat perfect, but not found a way to stretch or shrink the grid if the auto grid is slightly off.
I realise this can be done in the desktop software, but the cool thing about these players (for me) is that I wouldn’t need my laptop. I have a big library and want to be able to edit tracks on the fly, rather than have to verify everything in the desktop app before syncing to my external drive.
If this isn’t possible now, is there any chance you have it planned for an upcoming update?
Thanks
Pete
This is a feature requested multiple times, but I can’t find where you can vote on it.

You can actually (usually) shift the grid while the track is playing to get it aligned when it drifts. But, if the BPM are wrong, it’s a game of cat and mouse. An on player adjustment of the BPM in order to stretch or compress the grid would be really helpful.
Thanks for that, I’ll keep looking for the vote link. In the meantime, Serato wins this round.
