Hello, I have no problem creating playlist or moving songs around when I’m on the computer and organizing through Engine DJ. My issues are with the controller when it’s not connected to a laptop/computer: We are given the opportunity to create a “New Playlist” while in standalone mode, we can name it whatever we want, yet we are not able to move specific songs into that folder for some reason.
List of Current Playlists:
HOUSE MUSIC > DEEP HOUSE FOLDER > ACAPELLAS
HIP HOP > ICE CUBE > DEATH CERTIFICATE
REGGAE > DUB > SCIENTIST
JAZZ > ACID JAZZ > AFRICAN JAZZ
- If I create a playlist at the MAIN LEVEL I am not able to move a song from ACAPELLAS into the new playlist, because now I would be 3 levels deep at the ACAPALLAS folder, but the newly created playlist is still where the HOUSE MUSIC, HIP HOP, etc. folders are and no way to access it.
Acapella folder 3 levels deep:
HOUSE MUSIC > DEEP HOUSE FOLDER > ACAPELLAS
HIP HOP > ICE CUBE > DEATH CERTIFICATE
REGGAE > DUB > SCIENTIST
JAZZ > ACID JAZZ > AFRICAN JAZZ
NEW PLAYLIST (at level 1)
Is there a work around for this?
Obviously this would be easy if plugged into a computer, but this use case if for only when on the controller and on the road/playing in real-time and I want to create a playlist on the fly. P.S. - I’m not asking about the “Prepare” feature, because putting things there is temporary and they eventually move after being played from the prepare folder.
Any help would be grateful.
Or, is this something Denon is currently working on?
(I have 3.1.0 firmware installed)
Thanks!
