I rember a feature on Rekordbox from a while back that allowed me to take an explicit track and flag the parts of it that were explicit in order to be able to censor them if needed. For example if I’m playing a track where there are younger children present and I don’t have the clean version, I could have flagged parts of the explicit track and when it plays them, the track is automatically backmasked or some FX applied to mask out the bad language. What would be even more awesome is if it could just cut the vocals at those points using stems. It’s perhaps hte thing I miss most coming from Rekordbox since I do end up having to hunt around for radio versions when having younger children present at the gigs.
If this feature suggestion gets changed into a voteable suggestion, I’d happily move one of my 10 votes onto this feature.
I do a lot of weddings and multi-age group functions, where a radio edit or a home-made clean version is the best option.
