4.3.4 issues

ive been running 4.3.4 on my 2 sc6000s a few months now, and generally its been behaving ok.

but the past few weeks ive had a few issues.

firstly, ive noticed the touchscreen becoming inactive.

secondly, ive had the sc6000 just not start up at all a few times - freezes on the first screen.

both times a hard power reset and booting up again clears the problems.

ive als started to notice the waveform ‘stutter more often recently, previously i never noticed it.

maybe i need to reinstall the latest firmware again. these arent serious issues as i can reboot/recover ok.

just wondered if others have encountered these issues.

having used the ‘other’ major brand for 20 years, i can honestly say they were far more stable, although the denons are technically far more advanced, imho.

I use 4.0.0 and have since summer of 2024. It’s been rock solid on my 4x SC6000Ms

When will a new firmware with major updates be released?

That seems to be more of a failing hardware issue rather than firmware.

When the company deems the features to be ready for release. It’s their timeline and they are the only ones holding the cards.

ahhh thankyou  makes sense! could also be a good reminder to keep my screen clean, my bad

Before the firm updates was more frecuently, now takes a lot of months to launch a update, and then appears a update with minor improvements

I can understand your observation, but it doesn’t mean the team isn’t working hard on new features.

The release of 4.5.0 for the new Rane box is a clear indication of this.
