most agreed, i am quite fed up at not being able to change a tag and get it to save in the file.

Writing ID3 tags edited in Engine DJ and Engine OS back to the original music file can be treacherous as there are so many file types and ID3 variants.
You can try ID3Genius tag editor, professional and effective.
Is this the ID3Genius you’re referring to amoyshare? I came across it on their website as well, and I’ve been using it for the past three days, it’s been great so far. I finally managed to fix all my incorrect music tags.
