Money and lack of Misunderstanding they dont realize how much more money they would actually make off being on a open source platform, Mainly it would resolve the issues of converting it to WIndows and Mac that than get re cross platformed back to Linux as ENGINE os is linux based its hillarious redundant crazy pre 2020 bubble pop and their about to lose to any company or even one dedicated programmer who may already be working on such a program as with AI you can easily Rebuild all these by Reverse engineering and make em 100xs better and free. OH Mixxx already done it Yeah they did and many are realizing how easy it is to vibe code plug ins its on like donkey kong ENGINE os just lost.
