Hi.
I have been using the denon sc live 4 for about a year. I decided to buy it because of the built-in speakers and four channels. It is very easy to use and has advanced functions and regular updates. It is easy to transport.
Disadvantages:
The build quality is not the best!
Potentiometers on channel 1 and 2, if I move them a little left and right horizontally, the volume drops, as if it were losing contact.
Another thing, the sound in the headphones suddenly disappears. When I turn the headphone volume knob from minimum to maximum, sometimes I have to repeat it several times, the sound comes back and everything works normally.
In short, it can be seen that the components are not the best.
In general, the thing is cool.

Things I like about my SC Live 4.
Things I’d like to see improved in a version 2.
Things I don’t care for.
No pun intended of course, but you hate having a computer needed for mixing, while digital out would be handy for recording to a computer.
Sorry, couldn’t help it… thanks for a good sum of improvements.
Yeah I meant not needing the computer to produce the audio and run the mixing software.
Obv’s if I want to stream stuff with video I’m going to need a computer to do that. Plus we probably all use a computer to prepare our tracks on, but nice that it’s not needed just for the performance side of the SC Live.
I just like the standalone format. I’ve been down the laptop route, and it’s just annoying keeping it updated, yet making sure MS don’t turn on things that can compromise audio.
I’ve seen enough laptops, including MAC’s, crash in clubs.
Also quite a lot of amp’s, receivers, and even speakers often have digital inputs in these days. My Qaudio speakers support digital over USB.
