Track FWD/BACK in EDJ 2.4.0 (MacOS) Issue!

Apologies if this is in the wrong category - its a bug-report.

To recreate:

  1. Double click a track in EDJ to add to the on-screen deck.
  2. Use the track fwd/back buttons (next to the padlock) and all works fine and you can see the different tracks highlighted in your playlist/collection.
  3. With the track (from step 1) still in the deck, click its padlock to lock the beat grid (I’m assuming in step 1 you loaded a track which doesn’t have its beat grid locked with the padlock!).
  4. Notice that the highlighted track in the playlist/collection now jumps to somewhere else and the track fwd/back buttons select tracks a bit randomly?!

Note: You sometimes have to do this once or twice but the issue does happen.

I noticed this when I wanted to use the track fwd button to quickly go through tracks and lock their beat grids.

Interesting find, I will check it at my Engine dj in a free moment.

I was able to reproduce this as well.

The track highlight jumps back to the last track that you double clicked.

Eventually you have to click FWD 3 times to get to the next track, then 4 times to move to the next track, then 5 etc. :joy: Glad you could reproduce!

similar problem here BUG? Previous/Next track buttons sometimes jump back to previously highlighted with mouse track - #2 by ST01

clearly something not working correctly with the prev/next buttons!
